Defender AR40

The client’s infrastructure was deteriorating, and they desperately needed a reliable solution they could count on to perform and provide a quick solution for a pervasive problem.

The client was struggling with what products would be best. The cement on the surface of the concrete was demonstrating accelerated corrosion, and they were looking for a product that would form a monolithic coating and increase the service life of the structure

A consultation was set up with the client. We listened to their concerns and past experiences. We asked questions to clarify and solidify our understanding of their specific issues. Because we have two dedicated, experienced, and licensed engineers who have previously been consultants to infrastructure owners, we could sympathize and provide a unique understanding of their challenges and the environments in which they operate.

Ultimately, they needed a highly corrosion-resistant solution along with a faster return to service to minimize the costs of bypassing flow on structures that were being repaired —they needed Defender AR40.
Before the application, all bolts and seams were meticulously sealed to ensure a tight barrier against water infiltration. Then, utilizing a two-step process, the team applied two 100 mil coats of Defender AR40. This comprehensive approach ensured thorough coverage and a durable finish, capable of withstanding the rigors of the tower's environment.

The customer was thrilled with the solution and the performance of the contractor, and they quickly decided that this was the best product for their needs. To this day, our contractor continues to apply our products, and Defender AR40 is still the product of choice for the client.
